Naturally, both add some weight and bulk, but in different ways: the telescoping brace adds a bit of length to the pistol, while the folding brace adds a bit of width. I have a spare 30rd and a 35rd mag held together by rubber bands rolled up in a blue towel in the bag as well. This won't be permanent, I'll find another bag that has some sort of inside pockets I can put the mags in but it will do for now.
