Portishead naval college

The National Nautical School in Portishead, within the English county of Somerset, was created in 1869 for destitute and neglected boys of Bristol. It was based on HMS Formidable moored off the shore from 1870 until 1906. It then used a purpose built facility nearby until its closure in 1982. WebHe began his naval career first as an undesignated seaman, followed by signalman and then aviation structural mechanic until his selection for the Command Senior Chief Program in 2011. He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 147 Gold) and the Command Master Chief (CMC)/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 10701).
