I first verified the tuner was supplying voltage to the coax connector (~12VDC), then took a look at the antenna. Turns out MFJ didn't bother to solder the power wires to the board! I can now tune 40, 30, and 20 meters to less than 1.5:1 (20M is a flat 1.0:1); and 17 and 15 meters to less than 2.0:1. So, I have a 5-band antenna.
