I have taken up the flute now for 3 months ( however I have played piano , clarinet and recorders ) .Every thing was fine up until a few of the pads became sticky. I have a flute tech friend of mine that said that eventhe most expensive flutes can have this problem ! ugh . WebIt can misalign the pads. Press the key (s) against the paper. $ bill is deadly for your pads. maybe a saxophone but not the fish bladder skin that is on a flute. yes and yes. yes and no. do not, I repeat do not do the typical push down and pull technique. just push down on the key once with the paper. that should suffice for the time.
