WebSep 15, 2010 · Actually, the two parts of the Fingers of the Mountain quest can be done in either order, i.e. you can give the book to Earana or Teekeeus first. I can confirm this, as I've done it both ways. If you give the book to Teekeeus first, then talk to Earana, she asks you to steal it back for her, just like Teekeeus does if you give it to Earana first.
