I recently bought an s7 from cricket with the intention of adding tethering. I was told by sales rep that the phone has to be a cricket issued phone to use tethering. I just discovered that I can use mobile hotspot and usb tethering to provide internet to my tv and my computer and possibly even the router when AT&T's internet is down. I just went through several days without internet, never knowing my phone’s hotspot would give me the internet access I need. Never again. This is awesome.
